Yesterday I was recording sound for a short film by talented young filmmaker Sam Barnett. We were filming in Sydenham Hill Wood, Dulwich by the Victorian folly. An old-fashioned caper called Antihero involving a thought to be dead aristocrat and two young men trying to strike it rich.
The weather was our only enemy, it poured down at the end adding to the Gothic atmosphere. Finding the folly was also tricky, involving a couple of Uber rides. Once there passers by didn't seem too curious and just left us to it. I suspect we weren't the first people to make a film there.
